Aubay - IT Support Specialist for the European Institutions in Brussels

We are currently looking for an IT Support Specialist for the European Institutions in Brussels. The responsibilities of the role are:

  • First and second-line support: remote and on-site support
  • Incident analysis, first and second-line customer liaison via telephone, email, users office and meeting rooms
  • Recording and tracking incident and problem information
  • Resolving issues and requests
  • Participating in reconfiguration / installation of PC / iMAC environments, laptops, network and personal printers
  • Documenting operational support procedures
  • Drafting technical content for knowledge database
  • Testing and administration of applications
  • Liaising with 3 level support, server-, system- and database administration
  • Reporting major problem directly to the team leader
  • Participation and coordination of specific projects (migration, deployment, etc.)
  • It is vital that the consultant have the necessary experience in the Windows platform and related technologies. Experience with the OSX platform is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in IT support service desk is a must.
  • The consultant will be expected to participate in meetings with the users and suppliers.
