For our client in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Medior Business Analyst to join a Broker Front Ambassador Team (Core) and contribute to key transformation initiatives within the non-life insurance domain.
In this role, you will support front-office transformation topics as part of a broader transformation roadmap, with a strong focus on new business and delivering an excellent user experience for brokers and partners.

What you'll do :
- You are responsible for the analysis and documentation within the Broker Front product team, with a focus on non-life insurances
- Translate business needs, architectural vision, and imposed standards into clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in workshops with key stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
- Model agreed processes and describe requirements in a structured and unambiguous way (use cases, structured documentation) to ensure alignment between business, technical analysts, design teams, and offshore back-office teams
- Ensure coordination and knowledge transfer between business and IT stakeholders
- Contribute to maintaining and applying design guidelines within the product team
- Actively participate in projects to deliver high-quality IT solutions within agreed scope, timing, and budget
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both on site and offshore
Profile / Requirements
Who you are :
You are an experienced Business Analyst with a solid background in the insurance sector, ideally in non-life insurance. You are able to translate business needs into clear, structured functional analyses and contribute to high-quality end-to-end IT solutions. You are autonomous, result-oriented, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Additionally, you bring :
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Business/Functional Analyst within a larger insurance organization, preferably in non-life
- Strong experience in business analysis and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience with analysis and modeling techniques such as BPMN and UML, including use cases
- A strong focus on user experience (UX), translating user needs into intuitive and effective solutions
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- The ability to facilitate workshops and gather requirements from key stakeholders
- Strong coordination and communication skills to ensure alignment between business, IT, design, and offshore teams
- A structured, accurate, and problem-solving mindset
- The ability to handle change and shifting priorities in a fast-paced transformation context
- A hands-on mentality and strong collaboration skills, including working with external partners onsite and offshore
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
