Context of the mission / Objective(s) of the job
As a Business Analyst, you will work within the aviation IT domain, focusing on network operations. You will act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into effective IT solutions and ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional IT solutions
- Analyze existing systems and identify improvement opportunities
- Create business and functional requirement documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure solution alignment
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors
- Participate in system design (architecture, workflows, UI)
- Support project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
- Experience with structured analysis and documentation techniques
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (process modeling, use cases, data modeling)
- Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent documentation skills
Nice to have:
- Aviation industry experience (operations, cargo, crew, etc.)
- Knowledge of standards such as ARINC
- Certifications (e.g., CBAP)
