We are currently looking for a freelance Functional Analyst to join one of our clients in Liège.
What will you do?
The Functional Analyst for Employee Central in SAP SuccessFactors will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing HR solutions using SAP SuccessFactors modules. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors, particularly focusing on the Employee Central module.
He/She will be part of the Entreprise Applications Team but with daily exchange with our HR team, the Indian IT team and our AMS partner (currently Sdworx).
Key responsibilities
- Analysis and evaluation:
- Analyze and evaluate business processes and recommend improvements aligned with best practices for HR functional modules in SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors
- Gather master data requirements and strategies to support the transition of HR data into SAP and SuccessFactors
- System testing and implementation:
- Manage system testing to ensure procedures are thoroughly tested before release
- Collaborate with implementation consultants and vendors to install new modules or to test and configure new system releases
- Strategic advice and support:
- Provide strategic advice on the use of SAP SF modules to enhance HR processes, particularly in areas of employee performance, compensation management, and succession
- Act as a lead/subject matter expert (SME) within the Solution Analyst team, applying system solutions to business requirements through the design and configuration of systems platforms and applications
- Collaboration and communication:
- Collaborate with other EBS team's business analysts, IT groups, and business users in developing new solutions
- Communicate with central architecture teams inside SAP for software design and integration tasks
- Documentation and reporting:
- Create and maintain functional specification documents
- Design, develop, and analyze reports for all aspects of Human Resources
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or related fields
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience implementing the SAP SuccessFactors HCM offering and/or specific modules, with recent hands-on experience in Employee Central
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, and Learning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability (demonstrated by past experiences) to lead a team of SF IT resources
- Fluent in French and English
- Experience with complex integrations via SAP SuccessFactors modules
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles would be a plus
- Familiarity with SAP Workzone and other related SAP technologies would be a plus
