Consort NT - Network Support Engineer

Context

 

In our Agile organization, you will be working in the “Connectivity Services” squad within the tribe of “End User and collaboration Services”.

 

This squad is responsible for:

  • Design and implementation of network connectivity in (remote)HQ and branch offices
  • Design and implementation of WiFi in (remote)HQ and branch offices
  • Network setup within the different buildings
  • Network configuration and support

 

Function Description

 

The job mainly consists of the following elements:

  • 2nd line incident management of network-related incidents
  • Follow-up on the monitoring of the network infrastructure
  • Participation to the roll-out phase of network-related projects
  • Develop and follow-up on the technical domains SLA's
  • Technical-administrative support of the team :
    • develop / update technical information systems such as CMDB
    • compose and follow-up on the team budget
    • stock and inventory management

 

Technical Skills

  • Mandatory:
    • Good knowledge of networking and network topologies
    • Good knowledge and proven application of ITIL-based processes
    • Proven experience in administering network-related activities in large environments
  • Preferable:
    • Holding an entry or associate Cisco certification is an asset
    • Good technical writing skills
