About the Role
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer (or Information Security Engineer) to join our client and play a key role in defending their organization against cyber threats. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and implementing high-tech solutions to protect their systems, networks, and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and respond to security incidents (malware, intrusions, data breaches).
- Analyze phishing emails and security alerts using tools like SIEM and EDR.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and implement incident response procedures and playbooks.
- Provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a SOC environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Incident Response, SIEM, and EDR/XDR tools (MITRE ATT&CK framework).
- Experience designing and implementing IR playbooks.
- Familiarity with SOAR platforms and automation tools (scripting is a plus).
- Proven experience in Vulnerability Management (minimum 3 years).
- Experience working with third-party SOC service providers.
- Solid understanding of systems and network infrastructure.
