Have you always dreamed to work in the aerospace field? Expleo is looking for a Power and Analog Electronic engineer! You will be required, in the context of on board space applications, to define, design, validate and test electronic functions. You will also be responsible of equipment modules at a technical point of view, working in close collaboration with the Technical manager and the Project Manager.
Your mission
- Manage and participate in all the technical aspects of projects from proposal to the delivery of the product
- Verify the compliance to the electrical requirements
- Verify electrical schematics and the equipment behavior through Spice simulations
- Perform electrical specification and system studies
- Design power, analog and/or digital electronic circuits
- Use of simulation software to validate circuits
- Perform design robustness analyzes (Worst Case analysis, Failure Mode and effect analysis, Part stress analysis...)
- Write and/or validate design justifications and various descriptive documents
- Define breadboard perimeters
- Write and/or validate Test specifications, analyse and interpret test results :
- Ate architecture and synoptic definition
- Test racks and Harnesses definition / design / modification (general view, electrical schema, wiring plan, mechanical design, ...)
- PBA (Pcba) design / modification (if necessary)
- SW database definition support (e.g. test parameters)
- Ate integration procedure definition and support
- CE conformity assessment support
- Contribute and coordinate technical investigations when the test results are not compliant to the requirements and perform analyzes to solve them.
- Contribute to all internal project reviews within the company, and external reviews with the customers
- Estimate the duration and costs of the technical activities and coordinate the technical team
Your profile
Essential :
- Master in Electronics / Electricity Engineering
- >3 years experience in Hardware development and verification
- Thorough knowledge of design of power, analog and digital functions
- Power converters topologies (buck, boost, flyback...)
- Analog electronics (opamps, resistors, capacitors, inductors; bipolar transistors...)
- Digital electronics (Hcmos family, Pwm drivers...)
- Excellent knowledge of discrete design techniques (transistor level)
- Excellent knowledge of regulation loops, stability, rejection, efficiency, etc...
- Excellent knowledge of EMC aspects
- Excellent knowledge of :
- Electrical characteristics measurement techniques
- Electrical test systems
- Electrical, electronical and mechanical CAO tools (Eagle, ...)
- Configuration management
- Electrical safety rules (BA5)
- Excellent knowledge of design robustness analysis (worst case, part stress, failure mode)
- Good knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, CAN, Mil-Std-1553, Uart, ...)
- Experience in an electronic lab environment
- Autonomous, rigorous, inventive and solution-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills (leadership, sound judgment, synthesis)
- Respect budget, planning and able to work to deadlines
- Good knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written
Assets :
- Knowledge of Microcap 10 and Simetrix/Simplis simulators
- Knowledge of Python programming language is an advantage
- Previous working experience in the space or aeronautical field
- Familiar with Agile method and Scrum framework
