What you'll do
- Gain a deep understanding of business processes underpinning balancing data, and thoroughly document them
- Define, implement, and oversee data quality rules for monitoring for balancing data
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis in response to data quality issues
- Propose and coordinate corrective actions and long-term solutions to structurally improve data quality
- Act as a key support to the Data Owner, contributing to the evolution of data-driven products and services
- Drive the transition from IT-led to business-led data products, ensuring the business takes ownership of high-quality, timely, and reliable data delivery
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams (business and IT) to co-create and deliver value-added data products
What you bring
- master's degree in engineering or a technical discipline
- Min 3 years of proven experience as a Data Steward or in a similar role
- strong interest in the energy sector and either understand or are eager to learn about the dynamics of the energy market
- analytical mind to tackle complex problems in a simple and structured way
- proven experience in SQL, Python, ... or analytical tools
- Focus on details without losing sight of the overall picture and deliver flawless work
- like teamwork and is result-oriented

- fluent in Dutch or French and can communicate fluently in English both orally and in writing
