Title of the mission: Verdi Migration - Project Manager Onboarding/Commercial Migration/Distribution Readiness.
Goal of the mission: Lead stream and deliver objectives of Verdi Migration Program-Stream Onboarding/Commercial Migration/Distribution Readiness.
Expected deliveries:
1. Planning & Governance
o Build and maintain the detailed project plan for all three tracks (Onboarding, Commercial Migration, Distribution Readiness).
o Track progress against the high-level timeline and flag deviations.
o Organize and facilitate SteerCo, Internal Committee, and ExCo meetings (agenda, minutes, follow-up).
o Ensure POG governance steps are scheduled and completed on time.
2. Coordination & Communication
o Act as the central point of contact between Lead, BA team, Product Managers, and external stakeholders.
o Coordinate bi-weekly alignment meetings with Lead BA and weekly cross-workstream meetings.
o Ensure communication plans (brokers, clients) are executed according to schedule.
3. Risk & Issue Management
o Maintain a risk and issue log for the stream.
o Proactively identify dependencies and escalate blockers.
o Ensure mitigation actions are tracked and reported.
4. Deliverable Management
o Monitor the preparation and delivery of:
o Broker segmentation updates.
o Communication and training materials.
o Migration strategy and implementation plans.
o Impact assessments and regulatory notices.
o Validate that deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
5. Reporting
o Prepare weekly status reports (RAG status, risks, next steps).
o Consolidate updates from all tracks for program-level reporting.
6. Resource & Budget Oversight
o Track resource allocation and ensure alignment with project needs.
o Monitor budget consumption for activities under the commercial stream.
Expected role & responsibilities during the mission:
Lead and manage strategic projects focusing on Athora Belgium Regulatory Roadmap and especially Tax related. From initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management best practices, methodologies and internal project life cycle.
Description of The Expected Profile:
Knowledge:
Core Insurance, Commercial and distribution knowledge.
Life Insurance product management, savings and investments.
Project Management methodologies (Agile).
Project Management tools.
Competencies:
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects related to commercial & distribution matters in a Life Insurance context on time and within budget. Ability to thrive in a challenging and complex regulatory environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Mindset:
Quality and Client oriented.
Ability to work within a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervision.
Ability to work with tight deadlines.
