Prosource is currently looking for a skilled .NET Developer to support our client within a key modernization initiative, as part of a strategic application transformation program.

As a .NET Developer, you'll play a vital role in the migration of a legacy .NET Framework 4 application to a modern .NET 8 architecture. This project is central to the client's goal of aligning technology with future business needs.

Your core responsibility will be to bring deep technical expertise and ensure smooth, high-quality migration while adhering to established development standards.

 

 

Here's what your impact will look like

  • Contribute directly to the migration from .NET Framework 4 to .NET 8, working on complex application logic and architecture redesign.

  • Ensure code quality through adherence to coding standards and best practices defined by the client.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, QA, and operations to drive successful delivery.

  • Identify and solve technical challenges related to the modernization of both front-end and back-end components.

  • Work with technologies such as WPF and Blazor to create efficient, modern user interfaces.

  • Participate in the evolution of a MicroServices-based ecosystem using tools like RabbitMQ and MongoDB.

  • Proactively engage in discussions around performance, scalability, and security.

  • Take ownership of assigned components and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase

 

Criteria

  • You have strong hands-on experience with .NET 8 / C# and WPF (WPF is a must-have).

  • You're experienced with SQL Server, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.

  • You're comfortable in MicroServices-based environments.

  • Blazor experience is a strong plus.

  • You communicate clearly, work independently, and take accountability for your deliverables.

  • You're able to align with development processes already in place and contribute to best practices.
