Functional Analyst
Join a program to modernize and take over a portfolio of about 30 operational business applications for a defense ministry. You will support internal teams through documentation transfer, maintenance, new feature development and full reengineering to align with current standards.
Key responsibilities
- Elicit and validate business requirements with stakeholders through workshops and interviews
- Produce clear functional deliverables (user stories, use cases, detailed specifications, process models)
- Coach and mentor junior analysts and contribute to product decision making
- Model and document business processes using UML, BPMN and ER diagrams
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Define and execute functional test cases and support user acceptance testing
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience on significant, complex or regulated projects
- Experience in application handover, reengineering or migration
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
- Experience in regulated or critical environments
- Knowledge of prototyping tools (Balsamiq, Figma, Axure) is a plus
- Familiarity with ITIL, Togaf or Prince2 frameworks
