Key responsibilities
- Support production processes and business-critical tools
- Enhance existing applications (Python v3 back-end / Angular front-end)
- Define frameworks enabling secure CI/CD deployment on Kubernetes
- Develop automated unit, integration, and non-regression tests
- Design and implement REST APIs for business use cases
- Make architectural decisions aligned with security and scalability standards
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand functional needs
Deliverables
- Technical specifications and architecture documentation
- CI/CD deployment pipelines for both industrialized and Eua apps
- Fully tested and production-ready back-end Python applications and APIs
- Test plans and validation reports
- Deployment-ready, secure Kubernetes-hosted solutions
Technical environment:
- Languages & Frameworks: Python v3, Flask, Angular
- Testing: Automated frameworks (unit/integration)
- DevOps: GIT, Azure DevOps, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, NoSQL
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Azure Cloud
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of Python (5+ years)
- Proficient with Angular and Flask (2-4 years)
- Experience with API development and automated testing
- Strong background in DevOps, versioning, CI/CD, and containerization
- Familiarity with secure cloud deployments and agile workflows
- Knowledge of the energy sector or financial/trading platforms
- Understanding of commodities trading and related financial products
- Ability to manage multiple development tracks simultaneously
- Fluent in English
- French and/or Dutch proficiency is a plus
