Software Advies - Project Manager Change

Role

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Typical PMO related activities:
    • Supporting Program Management and functional teams
    • Budget (man days) follow-up => actuals vs. budget
    • Monitoring of time registration for the various consultants
    • Ownership over the consolidated program planning & reports
    • Update of project plans and the demands for the various consultants
    • follow up timely delivery of status reports of the teams
    • consolidate the status reports
    • Managing the document management system related to the program
    • Managing system accesses for the different consultants
    • Supporting the practical organization of workshops (sending invitations, taking meeting minutes, etc.)
    • Participate in steering committee
    • Preparation of steering presentations
    • actively support the follow-up of the issues and the risks
  • Change officer related activities:
    • Perform change management diagnostics to define a strategy change based relevant for the program
    • Creation and execution of a communication plan
    • Creation and execution of a training plan for the various stakeholders
    • Provide support when creating test plans in close cooperation with testing coordinator
    • Elaborate existing Elearning strategy based on SAP Wpb (Workforce Performance Builder)
    • Monitoring of business readiness to Go Live and define actions that positively influence this readines

 

Profile

  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • General experience:
    • three or more years of progressively responsible IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
    • three or more years supporting complex projects with substantial business transformation focus
    • Proven experience in managing "upward" among Senior leadership
    • Proven experience in leading diverse teams Specific expertise and competencies
  • Very Important:
    • Experience in projects with multiple companies and a lot of intra-group dependencies and transactions
    • Experience in business transformation projects, including startup of shared services (e.g. purchasing...) and mergers is a plus.
    • Eagerness to participate in the solution decision process is a plus
  • Knowledge & Skills:
    • Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills, as this is a highly visible position with substantial impact
    • Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major defined PM approaches (for example PMI PMBOK, Prince II or Agile). Certification is a plus.
    • Combine strong methodology and technical background with common sense and business acumen
    • Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools with solid track record of practical application
    • Accurate and punctual
    • SAP knowledge is a plus plus
    • Proactive attitude
    • Pragmatic, hands-on approach
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
    • Fluent in Dutch, English and French.
