IT Systems & Support Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on IT Systems & Support Engineer (junior/medior) to join our team. You will play a key role in keeping our digital workplace reliable, secure, and user‑friendly for around 50 colleagues who rely on Microsoft 365, Azure and other modern workplace tools.

You will be part of a small but skilled IT team, working closely with the IT Manager, a .NET Software Developer and several external IT partners. You will have plenty of autonomy, while having access to experienced colleagues whenever needed.

Your role...

  • Supporting colleagues in their daily IT needs; assisting with login issues, providing Microsoft Windows and Office support, solving printing issues and investigating application-related problems.

  • Assisting colleagues with IT challenges (e.g. in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Copilot).

  • Managing and monitoring our Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure.

  • Managing and monitoring our HQ infrastructure (firewall, switches, access points, Teams rooms, ...).

  • Responding to SIEM/SOC alerts during office hours.

  • Performing recurring IT maintenance (firmware updates, backup restore tests, continuous security improvements).

  • Keeping our Choose Your Own Device catalog up-to-date, preparing new workstations, managing  RMAs and maintaining our IT asset inventory.

Over time, and in line with your competencies and interests, you may take part in a range of IT and digital improvement projects, such as user training, low-code automation, AI automation, Power BI reporting, software testing etc.

Your profile...

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent through experience.

  • You are able to assist colleagues fluently in both Dutch and French, and you can comfortably understand and follow written and spoken English.

  • You have experience with Windows desktop environments and the Microsoft 365 suite (Office, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).

  • You are familiar with Microsoft cloud infrastructure (Azure, Entra ID, conditional access, etc.).

  • You have practical knowledge of networking basics and common firewall concepts.

  • You know how to apply AI tools in your daily work, while maintaining a critical mindset.

  • You have a client‑oriented mindset and clear communication skills, able to explain technical topics to non‑technical colleagues.

  • You have a strong analytical and critical mind.

Our offer...

  • A role with real impact, where your ideas on security, automation and user experience are quickly translated into practice.

  • A part-time (80%) or full-time contract with attractive salary.

  • Working with modern Microsoft technologies.

  • A nice working environment where personal development is a priority.

  • A “CYOD” policy for your smartphone, laptop and home office.

  • The possibility to work from home up to 3 days/week (and brand-new offices coming later this year!).

  • An attractive salary aligned with your experience, including an extralegal benefits package.
