Sciensano is the new institute created by the merger of the Scientific Institute for Public Health (WIV-ISP) and the Veterinary and Agrochemical Research Center (CODA-CERVA). Our institutes have joined forces to better understand the health of humans and animals. Sciensano supports health policy through innovative scientific research, analysis, surveillance and expert advice.
Together we employ more than 700 employees on more than 100 scientific projects financed by governments, Belgian or international partners and clients. This way we contribute to a longer healthy life for everyone.
