Orange Business Services - Full-Stack Developer

Our client in the Energy sector is looking for a Full-stack Web developer for a long-term contract:

Within our company, the Delivery Factory team (part of IT for Marketing & Sales) is in charge of developments related to the Web site. This consists of pure front-end development in JavaScript and REST API development in Java. We work both in Service mode maintaining the website, resolving incidents and performing changes and for different projects implementing larger initiatives.

 

Summary objective of the job

 

As a member of the Delivery Factory team you develop and maintain functionalities (JavaScript Applications, CMS components, Rest Services) as requested by our internal customer Marketing & Sales or other customers within our group. You take ownership of changes and incidents that are assigned to you while working with the team to deliver the optimal result.

 

Qualifications

  • JavaScript (with knowledge of ES6): 3 years
  • Vue.js 2 (or experience with similar framework): 1 year
  • Responsive HTML/CSS development: 2 years
  • Java (with knowledge of version 8): 3 years
  • Java EE (essentially Servlet/JSP): 3 years
  • Spring: 2 years
  • Spring MVC: 2 years
  • JAX-WS (CXF as implementation): 2 years
  • XML Processing: 2 years
  • SOA principles (SOAP, Rest): 2 years 

 

Additional competencies / skills required

  • You are customer-oriented, solution-minded and you have a learning mentality
  • You are a good communicator and can work efficiently and independently
  • UML (able to read and understand)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies

 

Nice to have competencies

  • Experience with IntelliJ / WebStorm
  • Experience with WebPack and NPM
  • Experience with SASS
  • Experience with CMS development (Knowledge of Magnolia CMS would be an asset)

Languages

 

Fluent in English and good understanding of French or Dutch
