As project manager
I use my technical expertise to develop high-quality spatial solutions for clients in the public sector. My strong technical background, combined with an interest in innovative technological trends, enables me to identify both the current and future geospatial needs of our clients. This leads to new combinations of geodata products and services, which I develop in close collaboration with our clients and the project team. I see myself as someone who enjoys driving innovation and identifying opportunities to improve processes, who can think ahead and create reusable solutions that align perfectly with our clients' needs, allowing them to look to the future with confidence.
In my role at GIM, I guide GIS, geodata, and geo-ICT projects from initiation to delivery, including everything from proposal management to project completion and monitoring. My goal is to deliver genuine added value to our clients, while respecting scope, deadlines, quality, and budget all in an agile way. To achieve this, I work closely with clients and project partners while supporting my team in reaching our shared goals. Together, we ensure that our results meet expectations, while I also manage project risks and take mitigating actions where needed.
I work closely with our team lead and the PMO to optimize GIM's resource planning. I monitor project budgets carefully and ensure that the team has the necessary infrastructure (IT, tools, etc.) to strive for high-quality and smooth project delivery. In line with GIM's mindset of continuous improvement, I actively contribute to enhancing our project management processes based on lessons learned.
I communicate fluently in French and English (Dutch is an asset) with our clients, who value the strong working relationships we build. I seek their feedback on delivered services and products and listen to their future needs, ensuring a productive and long-term collaboration with GIM.
My role goes beyond project execution; I work to gain in-depth insight into public sector domains and contribute to the growth and visibility of our organization.
