AI Architect (Microsoft Copilot Studio)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AI Architect to join the GenAI Enablement Team and strengthen the Software Factory responsible for enabling and governing conversational AI solutions across the organization.
This role combines strategic architecture, platform governance, and hands-on implementation. In addition to supporting ongoing initiatives, you will help define the future direction of the Microsoft Copilot Studio platform and ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Copilot Studio and related Power Platform technologies.
- Help define the roadmap and strategic vision for the evolution of the Copilot Studio Software Factory.
- Evaluate architectural patterns, governance models, platform capabilities, and best practices.
- Advise on scalability, maintainability, security, and operational excellence of conversational AI solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of complex Copilot Studio solutions.
- Guide teams on SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management practices.
- Collaborate with architects to translate strategic concepts into implementable solutions.
- Stay up to date with Copilot Studio product releases and platform enhancements.
- Assess new platform features and identify opportunities for adoption.
- Coach and mentor internal team members on Copilot Studio and Power Platform best practices.
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and reusable implementation patterns.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of enterprise experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
- Proven experience designing and implementing conversational AI solutions.
- Experience defining platform strategy, governance, and architectural guidelines.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with GitHub and source control best practices.
- Strong Azure knowledge, including authentication, integrations, monitoring, and cloud-native services.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and governance requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
