About the role
As a Functional Analyst in the Analyses Chapter you are joining a team of highly talented and motivated analysts in the domain of Operational Planning & Competencies. You will primarilly work on the on-going project “Alternative Solutions Management”. This project and the portfolio of OP&C aim to further digitalize and optimize the operational planning services of client. You will be the key player in a three steps process, from translations of business demand over functional analyses into clear and specific technical deliverables. In this role, you will have the direct opportunity to shape project outputs and help client deliver increasingly better services.
Requirement. conformity criteria
- You can work onsite (Brussels) a minimum of two days per week.
- Experience as a Functional Analyst in the domain of operational planning of transport is mandatory.
- You have 8+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst in software development, in both Waterfall (PMI/Prince2) and agile (Scrum) environments.
- Knowledge of and practical experience with BPMN and UML.
- Experience managing backlogs and analyses in Jira/Confluence
Evaluation criteria
- You have demonstrated experience leading requirements elicitation workshops in multilingual settings (minimum 3 languages).
- You independently structure, review, and prioritize requirements from multiple stakeholders. You translate prioritized requirements into exhaustive, well-documented work packages for the implementation team, ensuring end-to-end quality assurance and close collaboration with the project team.
- You have a proven track record in technology renewal and migration projects, backed by solid experience in process analysis, quality management, and project management — with both Waterfall (PMI/Prince2) and agile (Scrum) frameworks. Relevant certifications, particularly in process analysis and quality management, are considered an asset.
- You plan your work, deliver as planned, and are able to adapt to approved changes. You consistently aim for efficient, on-time delivery.
- You are proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- You are involved throughout the entire project life cycle and contribute across its different phases and outputs.
