As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure and AWS, automate infrastructure with IaC, and collaborate with teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant cloud operations.
The assignment
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud resources, expanding capabilities into AWS
- Optimize existing cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, cost-efficiency, and security
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (TerraForm or ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot incidents, and support disaster recovery activities
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments
Required knowledge and skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services; familiarity with AWS fundamentals
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (TerraForm or ARM templates) and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancing) and cloud security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and automation workflows
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus
