We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer / Spark Engineer to join a major Asset Management transformation program and help build a new enterprise data platform following the integration with AXA Investment Managers.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with deep expertise in Apache Spark and Spark Connect, and experience building high-performance, large-scale data platforms in modern cloud-native environments.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data platform components using Spark and Spark Connect
- Build high-performance solutions for large-scale distributed data processing
- Contribute to the architecture and development of a new enterprise data platform
- Deploy and operate Spark workloads in Kubernetes environments
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and platform teams across the organization
What we're looking for
- Senior-level Apache Spark experience (must)
- Strong Spark Connect experience (must)
- Solid software/data engineering background
- Experience with large-scale or distributed data platforms
- Kubernetes experience is highly desirable
- Fluent English; French is an advantage
