Job Overview:
Lead Agile BI initiatives using Scrum to deliver data products incrementally, manage project scope, timeline, budget and risks, and ensure alignment with business priorities and governance standards."
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the BI roadmap and deliverable priorities in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Coordinate digital functions (architecture, infrastructure, security) to ensure governance compliance and alignment
- Initiate and plan projects by setting scope, estimating timelines and budgets, allocating resources, and producing a Project Charter
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of BI data products, ensuring quality, on-time and on-budget completion
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues proactively to keep delivery on track
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and enforce Agile practices across the team
- Facilitate team performance by removing impediments and shielding from external disruptions
- Ensure all BI products and project artifacts are documented according to standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of Agile/Scrum project management experience
- Experience estimating scope, timelines, budgets and managing risks/issues
- Hands-on familiarity with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, data warehouse and lakehouse concepts
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps or equivalent backlog management tools
- Active SQL skills
- Scrum Master certification
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2)
- Experience as Data Analyst, Data Modeler, BI Developer or Analytics Engineer
- Prior experience in the energy sector
- Experience with ESG or HR projects
