Data Analyst

A leading financial services company based in Brussels is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support its growing data analytics and insights capabilities.
The role focuses on delivering customer and digital channel insights by transforming data into actionable information. By tracking customer behaviour across digital platforms and translating data into clear dashboards and analyses, the Data Analyst supports business stakeholders in becoming more data-driven.
The mission is primarily centred on the setup, distribution, and sharing of insights, including robust data flows and user-friendly visualisation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and maintaining data flows and ETL processes (Alteryx)
- Designing and delivering data visualisation solutions (Tableau and/or Power BI)
- Performing data analysis to generate high-value insights
- Working closely with stakeholders to collect and clarify business requirements
- Supporting testing activities, including bug fixing
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability
- Producing and maintaining documentation
- Sharing expertise and taking a proactive, driving role in activities
- The consultant is expected to work autonomously while collaborating closely in an Agile environment with data engineers and business stakeholders to deliver industrialised and governed data solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- Data extraction, transformation, and structuring using Alteryx / ETL techniques
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
- Experience with Adobe Analytics
- Hands-on data processing and optimal sequencing
- Dashboard development and visualisation
- Testing support and bug fixing
- Quality review and documentation
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with business and technical stakeholders
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments
- Practical experience working in Agile teams
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Expert T-shaped profile combining analytical depth and collaboration
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to act as a reference point for data analytics topics
- Pragmatic and positive Agile mindset
Language Requirements
- English: Fluent (mandatory)
- Dutch or French: Fluent (at least one required)
