Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Operational Resilience (OR) modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting, and platform capabilities, with a focus on resilience, risk, and continuity solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop custom applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform, specifically for BCM and OR use cases
- Configure and enhance ServiceNow modules including Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management
- Implement integrations with third-party systems and data sources to support resilience and continuity planning
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop dashboards, reports, and automated alerts to support real-time decision-making and compliance
- Ensure platform performance, scalability, and security best practices are followed
- Provide technical documentation and support for deployed solutions
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
- Proven experience with ServiceNow BCM and/or Operational Resilience modules
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow Studio
- Experience with ServiceNow GRC, IRM, or Risk modules is a plus
- Familiarity with business continuity planning, risk assessments, and incident response frameworks
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance or BCM
- ITIL Foundation Certification
Nice to have
- Experience with Fusion Risk Management or similar resilience platforms
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, Ffiec, DORA)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
