We're working with a gaming company based in Brussels who are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to help build and evolve the systems that keep their games online and their teams moving fast.
This role is heavily involved in the technical platform: supporting cloud and on-prem infrastructure, improving automation, and making sure environments are secure. It's hands-on, varied, and ideal for someone who enjoys both building and maintaining systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud and on-prem infrastructure
- Managing AWS environments, focusing on core compute and storage services
- Operating and improving virtualized and containerized platforms (ideally Proxmox)
- Maintaining and supporting Linux (Debian-based) and Windows systems, including server and embedded environments
- Building and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
- Writing and maintaining scripts in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell to automate operations
- Supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines, with a solid understanding of how delivery workflows function
- Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and improving system reliability and performance
- Collaborating closely with development and technical teams to support game platforms
- Applying basic networking knowledge to diagnose and resolve connectivity or performance issues
Your Profile
- AWS, with solid knowledge of classic compute and storage services
- Virtualization and containers, ideally with Proxmox
- Linux environments, preferably Debian-based (server and embedded applications)
- Windows systems, including server and embedded use cases
- Infrastructure as Code & automation using Terraform and Ansible
- Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash (PowerShell is a plus)
- CI/CD concepts, with a good understanding of how pipelines work
- Basic networking knowledge is a plus
