Team: Alliance Cloud - Interface Integration
We are looking for a passionate Senior Test Engineer to join our team and improve software development, integration testing, and accelerate delivery cycles. You will work in an autonomous, cross-functional team responsible for cloud interface integration and gain expertise in modern software and distributed systems.
Key responsibilities
- Review stories and define test scenarios to ensure features meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Identify risks or unclear requirements that may impact quality.
- Execute regression and release testing, and support change planning and risk mitigation.
- Suggest process improvements to increase testing efficiency and robustness.
- Mentor and guide junior testers.
Skills & qualifications
Professional skills:
- Experience Level: 6-9 years in software testing and test management
- Autonomous, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
- Customer-focused with a quality-first mindset.
- Fluent in English with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with system installation and setup in test and production environments.
Technical skills - must have:
- Software testing: functional, regression, acceptance, system integration, end-to-end, release, post-deployment.
- Cloud & containers: Red Hat OpenShift, multi-environment testing.
- Test management: Jira, Jira Xray, planning, defect management.
- Test data management: design, generation, versioning.
- Infrastructure & systems: Linux (Red Hat), Windows/Unix Shell, networking basics, XML, Oracle DB.
Good to have:
- Advanced testing: exploratory, chaos, resilience, scalability, stress, usability.
- API & messaging testing (REST, SOAP).
- DevOps & automation: CI/CD, Jenkins, Robot Framework, Java, Python, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Performance testing: JMeter, benchmarking.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
