iStorm - Operational IT Manager (Ref. 30052018-01)

Looking for a freelance Operational IT Manager in a small to medium enterprise (min. 5y exp in SME / FR-EN) in Liège area to organize, coordinate and control whole the computer systems and all the related processes.


International SME company based in Liège.



Key tasks

  • Operational leading of all IT projects to deliver in time and in accordance with the budget
  • Analyze business process and implement them into management software (ERP, CRM, CMMS, PLM)
  • Define the operational guidelines and supervise all projects that are delegated to subordinates
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time in order ensure the availability, the efficiency and the continuity of the system
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate the activities of the IT team and of the IT consultant in order to bring efficiency to the IT activities
  • Lead and participate operationally to directly supported projects in order to suit the needs of the company and deliver in time and in accordance with the budget



  • Strong knowledge of the different jobs of a company in an international environment
  • Experience/ability to analyze business process and to implement them into management software (ERP, CRM, CMMS, PLM)
  • General knowledge and experience with other management softwares (CRM, PLM, WMS, CMMS, BI)
  • General knowledge of infrastructure in a Microsoft environment
  • Experiences with Microsoft Office 365, Skype for Business and SharePoint are strong plus
  • Strong leadership, character and capacity to convince
  • People manager
  • Flexible, Agile, self-governing, team player, hands-on, rigorous, analytical
  • Good communication skills
  • Experienced in vendor selection and management




12-month freelance contract (extendable)
