To ensure Econocom's growth, we are looking for a Senior Business Manager.
As a Senior Business Manager, you define and implement your own business strategy. Your mission includes business development , recruitment and management of consultants as well as the management of a profit center (revenue growth and profitability).
Your role?
- Define and implement a proactive business development strategy focused on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company objectives
- Understand industry trends and client challenges to offer tailored, value-driven solutions
- Prospect and engage potential clients, build long-term relationships, and convert leads into sustainable partnerships
- Drive the full Sales cycle: from lead generation, qualification, negotiation, to deal closing and client onboarding
- Manage customer relations and develop business opportunities within existing accounts
- Engage stakeholders (clients, consultants, etc.) and oversee the entire commercial cycle
- Ensure client acquisition, retention, and account growth by identifying opportunities and maximizing value
- Recruit and develop consultants to align with client needs and project goals
- Lead and support teams, ensuring their development and well-being
- Monitor project delivery and manage operational transitions (onboarding, inter-contracts, offboarding)
- Manage a profit center by optimizing revenue, profitability, and long-term sustainability
- Handle urgent business situations (e.g., terminations, cancellations) while ensuring client satisfaction and operational continuity
What do you already bring to the table?
- You have 3 to 5 years' experience in recruitment and business development in technical sectors.
- You have proven experience in team management and know how to demonstrate leadership.
- You speak French and Dutch perfectly and demonstrate a very good knowledge of English.
- You are able to anticipate needs and issues, allowing you to act quickly and efficiently.
- You are results-oriented, and demonstrate diplomacy and persuasion in your professional exchanges.
- You have a driver's license.
