The project:
Our client in the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to strengthen their team.
Objective of the job:
- Evaluate the IT environment (at both the mainframe and server levels) to define upgrades, modifications and expansions
- Condut feasibility studies and evaluate various software and hardware solutions that can meet IT infrastructure needs to enable management to select the best solution
- Conduct a cost/benefit analysis of various software and hardware solutions to formulate a recommendation
- Carry out hardware and software modifictaions, upgrades, and expansions to ensure that the techniques and capabilities best meet user needs are always available to implement new projects or improve existing IT infrastructures
- Produce guidelines and policy documents for specific architectures to provide a sound basis for simplifying technical infrastructure adaptations
- Inform, train and support infrastructure users to ensure optimal and efficient use of IT systems
- Keep constantly informed of developments in your field of specialization, keep your knowledge up to date with new developments in order to strengthen your credibility through a service that is constantly based on up-to-date knowledge
Is this you?
- Fluent in French and/or Dutch
- Good knowledge of English
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience
- Experience in a similar role
- Having previously been a system administrator is preferable
- Good knowledge of IT platforms: Windows/Office 365/Cloud/Azure
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity platforms: Windows Defender, High Priviledge Account Management tools and processes, etc.
