We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation BI Consultant to join our IT and Business Intelligence department.You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical applications and automations, with a focus on data analysis, process optimization, and technical problem-solving.
This position requires strong expertise in Power BI, Excel automation, and API integrations, combined with solid understanding of databases, IT architecture, and project management best practices.

Main Responsibilities
Application development & automation:
- Design, build, and enhance automated workflows using Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop).
- Develop advanced Excel-based tools using VBA, Excel Scripts, and Power Query for data manipulation and automation.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models (DAX, Power Query, M code).
- Implement and support API-based data integrations using Python and JSON.
- Apply Office Scripts and Excel automation solutions within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Data analysis & reporting:
- Provide actionable insights through advanced data analytics and visualization tools.
- Execute data wrangling and transformation with Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
- Perform SQL queries on relational databases (Oracle or similar) to extract and analyze relevant data.
Technical support & maintenance:
- Deliver Level 2/3 support for internal applications and automated processes.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Excel models, Power BI dashboards, and automation scripts.
- Monitor and optimize performance of deployed automation solutions.
Governance, compliance & Security:
- Ensure all activities comply with data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Apply secure development and data management practices aligned with company policies.
Collaboration & project work:
- Partner with business units to gather requirements and deliver customized technical solutions.
- Contribute to project planning, documentation, and reporting.
- Actively participate in agile or hybrid environments (e.g., sprint reviews, planning sessions).
Your Profile
Required skills:
- Power BI: Advanced (DAX, Power Query, M code, data modeling)
- Excel: Expert (VBA, Excel Script, Let, nested formulas, Power Query)
- Power Automate: Advanced (Cloud) and intermediate (Desktop, web scraping)
- Python: Basic scripting for automation and API usage
- SQL: Intermediate level (subqueries, nesting, relational DBs)
- API Integration: Experience with JSON and REST APIs
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- GDPR Compliance: Good understanding of data privacy requirements
- IT Security & Architecture: Basic awareness of principles and best practices
- Project Management: Solid organization, planning, and documentation skills
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, or other Microsoft 365 integrations
- Experience with other BI tools or ETL platforms
