We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI developer to join this digital team for a temporary assignment to support several key reporting initiatives within our manufacturing operations. The candidate will join a small data team (Data Architect + data
engineer) and is expected to take ownership of the reporting and dashboarding layer to
build. Report will be build agile in a constant exchange with the business stakeholders.
What you will do : project & role description
The assignment includes two main focus areas:
- Manufacturing & operational productivity Reporting - Develop leadership dashboards to monitor productivity performance (KPIs) across our manufacturing installations and locations, in multiple time dimensions.
- CO₂ & Energy Reporting - Support CTO team experts with data analysis and reporting on energy usage and emissions.
- All data will reside on the operational data lake
The ideal candidate will be exposed to these key responsibilities during this mission:
- Design and implement Power BI semantic models aligned with business logic.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports based on stakeholder needs
- Translate business requirements into clear KPIs and visualizations.
- Collaborate with the data team to ensure data quality and performance.
- Work independently and proactively with (business) stakeholders, being in constant dialog to shape and finetune reports according to their needs.
Your profile: technical profile
- Strong experience in Power BI, including Power Query, Data modeling and DAX
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices.
- Familiarity with modern data lake concepts built on Microsoft technologies (Azure Data Lake Storage, Fabric, Databricks, SQL Services, etc)
- Ability to work autonomously and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Experience with Manufacturing data and/or CO₂/energy reporting is a strong plus.
- Used to work in Agile or iterative development environments
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
