The project
Our client in the Telecom sector, is seeking an experienced Data Engineer GIS to strengthen their team.
Main missions
- Design, develop, and automate spatial data pipelines.
- Integrate and transform geospatial data using FME, Python, and R
- Establish robust workflows to feed PostGIS and Oracle Spatial databases
- Optimize data quality, performance, and governance
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the reliability and availability of data flows
Is this you?
- Experience in GIS projects (at least 2-3 years)
- Fluent in French and English
- Strong proficiency in Python and R (ETL, data processing, visualization)
- Proven experience with FME (Safe Software)
- Solid skills in spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial)
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data architectures
- Understanding of issues related to geospatial data
- Development knowledge
- Team player and customer oriented
