Team Lead Software Development
AGFA HealthCare is looking for a driven Software Development Team Lead to be part of building the future in Medical Imaging.

Your role & responsibilities
As a Development Team Lead / Scrum Master, you will:
- Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of experienced software engineers through the full development lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to delivery and maintenance.
- Scrum Facilitation: Plan and lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, demos, product refinement and retrospectives.
- Support Agile Excellence: Act as a coach and facilitator to promote agile values, continuous improvement, and team self-management.
- Deliver Results: Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of software features and enhancements in collaboration with the Product Owner and stakeholders.
- Remove Obstacles: Identify and eliminate impediments to keep the team focused and productive.
- Foster Growth: Set goals, evaluate performance, and support career development for your team members.
- Promote Transparency: Act as an information radiator, providing visibility into progress, risks, and metrics.
- Drive Innovation: Champion new ideas, processes, and technologies to enhance team output and software quality.
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience leading software development teams in an agile environment.
- 3+ years of Scrum Master experience in multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid technical background with hands-on experience in Java, Angular
- Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, GIT, Eclipse.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage change constructively and promote a culture of learning and adaptability.
- Language requirements:
- English: Fluent
- Dutch: Very Good
Nice to have:
- Experience with medical software or regulated environments.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
- Passion for healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes.
