Data Business Analyst - Data Hub
We are looking for a Data Business Analyst to support the delivery and continuous improvement of data-driven solutions. You will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, managing initiatives from initial concept through testing and implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Drive business analysis from ideation through delivery.
- Develop business cases and co-create requirements with stakeholders.
- Analyse existing data flows, user roles, usage patterns and data-quality issues.
- Define target solutions and relevant business use cases.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, SMEs and development teams.
- Manage requirements and ensure full traceability for impact analysis.
- Translate business requirements into test conditions.
- Support product, performance and user acceptance testing.
- Contribute to data architecture, prototype validation and quality reviews.
- Support change management and solution implementation.
- Create reports and dashboards to facilitate decision-making.
- Ensure continuous improvement based on evolving business needs.
Required experience and skills
- At least 4 years of relevant experience as a Data Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong experience in business analysis and requirements management.
- Experience with conceptual data-modelling techniques.
- Good understanding of data flows and workflow processes.
- Proficiency in SQL querying.
- Good knowledge of data concepts, including BI, reporting, dashboarding and big data.
- Experience with IT testing and UAT.
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning and MVP delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of banking activities and products, particularly insurance.
- Familiarity with SAS Enterprise Guide.
Language requirements
- Good knowledge and understanding of Dutch.
- Good knowledge and understanding of French.
- Strong written and spoken English.
