Overview:
The business analyst is responsible for evaluating and analyzing business processes, systems and needs to identify solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
He/she serves as a bridge between business' stakeholders and technical teams elaborating business requirements, documenting workflows, recommending improvements and designs the business acceptance criteria.
He/she works with the IT teams to ensure proper translation of the business requirements to IT requirements.
The business analyst will have the following mission :
- Develop a top-level vision of the solution taken into account needs, constraints & project's objectives
- Elicit, reuse, analyse, specify, and manage the real requirements of the functional solution
- Ensure coherence across all requirements and quality of the requirements (e.g., correctness, completeness, consistency, testability, and understandability).
- Manage changes to the requirements
- Produce and maintain the associated requirements set of work products
- Prepare/execute tests activities to validate the team's deliverables.
- Able to communicate clearly and interact with team members (Business PO, colleague business analysts, architect, backend developers) in the Agile team you will working in.
- Work with the business stakeholders to translate the business needs for various small and medium business requests into requirements for IT implementation team.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, especially within the insurance industry
- Deep understanding of insurance products (life or non-life)
- Fluent English + preferably fluent in French OR Dutch
