Business Analyst - Manufacturing Transformation
I am currently supporting a client leading international industrial manufacturing organisation based in Antwerp, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major business transformation programme.
The organisation is undertaking a significant transformation of its core business and operational processes, including the modernisation and harmonisation of ERP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and related business systems.
This is a business-critical transformation programme involving multiple stakeholders across manufacturing sites and functions, with a strong focus on process standardisation, operational efficiency and the transition from legacy ways of working to a modern target operating model.
Terms
- Freelance / Long-term contract - 12 months, with possible extensions
- Location: Antwerp, Belgium
- Hybrid: 2 days on-site per week
- Language: English-speaking (Dutch is beneficial)
- Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document current AS-IS manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Define and document TO-BE processes as part of the transformation programme
- Lead requirements gathering across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and Operations
- Facilitate workshops with business process owners, subject matter experts and key stakeholders
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for standardisation and improvement
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and specifications
- Perform fit-gap analysis between existing processes, business requirements and the target ERP / business systems
- Support the design and implementation of harmonised processes across multiple manufacturing sites
- Work closely with ERP functional teams, solution architects, technical teams and implementation partners
- Support integration and process dependencies across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics
- Contribute to data migration, testing, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities
- Ensure business requirements and process documentation remain aligned throughout the transformation
- Act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical / implementation teams
- Support change adoption and the transition to the new processes and systems

Manufacturing / Supply Chain Experience - Essential
Candidates must have experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally within industrial / discrete manufacturing.
Strong experience across areas such as:
- Production planning and scheduling
- Manufacturing operations
- Supply Chain
- Procurement
- Inventory / materials management
- Warehouse and logistics
- MRP / planning processes
- Order-to-delivery processes
- Manufacturing master data
- Plant / site operations
- ERP-enabled manufacturing processes
- Experience working across multiple manufacturing sites or international operations would be highly advantageous.
Profile
- Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst or ERP Business Analyst
- Proven track record delivering business transformation, ERP implementation, migration or rollout programmes
- Excellent experience with AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping and fit-gap analysis
- Experience facilitating workshops with senior business stakeholders and process owners
- Comfortable working between business, functional and technical teams
- Experience working with systems integrators / implementation partners
- Experience across testing, UAT, data migration and go-live activities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Professional working English
