The Database Administrator will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, performance, availability, and lifecycle management of database platforms and associated Business Intelligence (BI) technologies in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Monitoring database performance and implementing measures to ensure high availability

Defining and executing backup, recovery, and upgrade strategies

Managing, patching, and upgrading BI technology stacks, including Oracle Analytics, OBIEE, ODI, WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat

Automating database administration tasks and maintaining lifecycle management of software

Supporting both on-premises and cloud database environments
Skills & experience
-
Strong knowledge of Oracle, MySQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience in at least two

Understanding of MySQL High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutions

Experience with Ords, Apache HTTP, and Tomcat administration

Proficient in Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows Server

Knowledge of advanced HA/DR architectures, server clustering, and virtual infrastructures
