Church International - Engineer (Digital Collaboration – Voice & VTC)

As an Engineer your specific duties for this post will include

• Perform service continuity improvement tasks on the NATO voice & VTC infrastructures
• Support innovation efforts related to voice and video conferencing technology
• Work with the project management team and provides technical support to projects to enhance and improve the existing infrastructure and services
• Plan, test and carry out routine configuration and maintenance operations within the voice and VTC domains
• Be prepared to support maintenance activities and infrastructure deployments during out of business hours
• Coordinate and raise Crqs (change requests) and ASIS (authorised service interruptions) when needed
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation (configuration baselines, engineering reports, network diagrams, etc.) and provide training for other team members on new technologies and features
• Mentor and/or coach team members on new voice and VTC technologies or features

Experience Required

• At least 2 years' experience designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing collaboration tools and platforms within a digital ecosystem of an organization.
• Experience deploying communication and collaboration software (such as video conferencing systems, team messaging applications, and document sharing platforms).
• Proven experience in the configuration and operation of Voice and VTC core systems and end devices.
• Proven experience in deployment and configuration of security features in the voice and VTC domains (TLS, PKI, IPsec, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to resolving QoS and technical issues in complex IP networks.
• Excellent knowledge of SIP, H.323 and PSTN signalling protocols.
• Good working knowledge of Virtualization and cloud technologies.
