Role summary
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Test Engineer to strengthen their testing team. The consultant will start by supporting manual testing activities and later contribute to test automation initiatives. This is a hands-on role that combines test design, execution, and continuous improvement, working closely with analysts, developers, and project leaders to ensure the quality and stability of delivered solutions.
Key responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, and non-regression tests during development phases.

Design, document, and maintain test scenarios and test cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Report test results, progress, and quality metrics to the development team and project leaders.

Contribute to the development and improvement of automated test frameworks.

Participate in the review and approval of test deliverables (scenarios, plans, automated scripts, reports).

Ensure tests are properly executed within the applicable environment and adjust the framework where necessary.

Monitor progress against timelines and provide structured reporting.

Analyze testing outcomes and suggest improvements to the development cycle to prevent recurring issues.
Technical profile
-
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Test Engineer.

Knowledge of SQL.

Good understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices (ISTQB certification is a plus).

Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Rqm, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Familiarity with Jira or other test/project management tools is a plus.

Experience with CI/CD testing pipelines is an asset.
