Role overview
Support, maintain, and elevate our clients server infrastructure at operating system level. Drive automation and best practices to enhance consistency and customer satisfaction. Additionally, as the Windows Engineer Team Leader, the primary objective is to provide leadership and guidance to the team of Windows engineers.
The role is pivotal in ensuring effective team performance and productivity in delivering high-quality technical solutions. The Team Leader is responsible for mentoring and coaching team members, assigning tasks, and delegating responsibilities to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as Team Leader is mandatory.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016.
- Experience in enterprise-level configuration management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
- Knowledge of LDAP protocol and systems.
- Experience managing NFS/CIFS or SMB.
- Skilled in automation and scripting with PowerShell, Ansible, Python, etc.
- Hold at least one vendor domain certification: Microsoft MCSE.
Key responsibilities
- Bring subject matter expertise in operating systems engineering.
- Provide advanced technical support and serve as an escalation point for IT incidents.
- Contribute to the development of systems standards and procedures.
- Design, program, and modify scripts as needed.
- Lead project teams and mentor fellow team members.
- Plan and implement maintenance activities, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve performance issues and optimize systems.
