We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join a dynamic and innovative company operating in the biotech/life sciences industry. You will play a key role in shaping and enforcing cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems in both on-premises and cloud-based environments.

 

As part of the Information Technology team and reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing information security, cybersecurity, and IT risk management initiatives.

 

 

Your role

  • Define and implement robust security policies, processes, and controls tailored to both on-premise and cloud-based systems

  • Anticipate and assess cyber risks, and implement preventive and corrective measures accordingly

  • Conduct regular security audits, monitor network activity, and investigate incidents when they arise

  • Serve as the primary cybersecurity contact for internal teams and external security partners (including a global SOC)

  • Promote security awareness internally by developing training materials and coaching employees on best practices

  • Lead and coordinate cybersecurity-related projects with cross-functional teams

  • Stay on top of evolving cyber threats, technologies, and regulatory frameworks

 

Your profile

  • Solid experience in cybersecurity or as a senior infrastructure/security administrator

  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2, COBIT, PCI, ITIL)

  • Comfortable working with technologies such as

    • Active Directory / Azure AD / Entra ID

    • Cisco infrastructure (ISE, Meraki, VLANs, IronPort)

    • Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer)

    • EndPoint protection, Antivirus, and XDR/EDR tools

  • Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams

  • Fluent in French and English

  • A background in life sciences or the ability to quickly grasp scientific contexts is a plus
