As a Data Scientist, you will be part of a global team supporting the development and manufacturing of innovative biologic medicines. Leveraging advanced statistics and data science, you will help optimize processes, drive scientific decision-making, and generate actionable insights from complex datasets. You will collaborate closely with experts across Manufacturing, Process Development, and Analytical Sciences to support both operational excellence and innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide statistical and data science support for process optimization, validation, monitoring, and investigations.
- Collect, structure, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to deliver meaningful business and scientific insights.
- Design and execute experimental studies (DoE) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Contribute to protocols, reports, and technical documentation with significant statistical content.
- Act as a subject matter expert in statistics and data science, providing guidance across multiple functions.
- Ensure data integrity, reliability, and compliance within a regulated environment.
- Support digital transformation and advanced analytics initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Profile
- Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
- Strong expertise in statistical methodologies and modern data science techniques.
- Experience with biologics development, manufacturing processes, or process development is an asset.
- Familiarity with GMP environments and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Fluent in English knowledge of Dutch is considered a plus.
