Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in Networking and Security environments.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented and proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- English is mandatory (written and spoken).
- French and/or Dutch is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Technical Requirements
Operating Systems & Security
- Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Excellent knowledge of SELinux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with system hardening, patching, and performance tuning.
Automation & Configuration Management
- Strong expertise in Ansible.
- Ability to develop and maintain playbooks, roles, and inventories.
- Infrastructure automation and configuration management experience.
Web & Network Services
- Expertise with NGINX / NGINX+ as Reverse Proxy and Load Balancer.
- Experience with F5 ApProtect Web Application Firewall.
- Experience with OPSWAT MetaDefender AV/AM solutions.
- Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and web security concepts.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, TLS, and DNS.
DevOps & CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience designing and implementing YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Azure Repos, Artifacts, and deployment pipelines.
Version Control
- Advanced Git knowledge:

- Branching strategies
- Rebasing and conflict resolution
- Tagging and cherry-picking
- Pull request workflows
Scripting & Programming
- Strong Bash scripting skills.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of Java is considered an asset.
Working Conditions
- The consultant is expected to be present on-site in Brussels at least once per month. Additional on-site presence may be required depending on project needs.
