Context
In the context of the transformation of its Non-Financial Risk (NFR) department, one of our clients in the banking sector is looking for a GRC specialist with an expertise in risk assessment to join this transformation programme, aimed at bringing structure and consistency to its operational and IT risk management processes.
On an immediate term, there are 3 main missions:
- Risk taxonomy redesign - building a single, consistent taxonomy across all risks (harmonising process naming and structure). This is a clean-up and structuring exercise, not a strategy-definition role.
- Risk assessment methodology review - reviewing and unifying a currently fragmented and inefficient risk assessment methodology, and defining the associated controls.
- Risk framework adoption and change - facilitate collaboration between business, IT and risk during the review of new product introductions.
Profile sought
- Solid experience in banking GRC (risk management, IT risk, or operational risk)
- Ability to bring structure and consistency to complex, fragmented processes
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with both business and IT stakeholders
- A plus: familiarity with ServiceNow GRC
