This is a *Belgium* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Consulting company working on *contributing to the redevelopment of a complex enterprise application into a modern microservices architecture while working within an Agile Scrum environment.*
Overview
We are looking for Expert Full Stack Developers (10+ years proven experience) to join a large-scale strategic digital transformation programme. This role involves contributing to the redevelopment of a complex enterprise application into a modern microservices architecture while working within an Agile Scrum environment.
Project Context
You will contribute to a strategic project rewriting a monolithic enterprise application into a microservices-based architecture, including integration of externally developed modules.
The application environment includes functionality comparable to:
- Payments, accounts, and reimbursements management
- Accounting and financial process management
Team Structure & Collaboration
- Work within priority functional streams such as:
- Accounting management
- Transactions and orders management
- Rules management
- Interfaces management
- Coordination with a Lead Developer overseeing production rollout of developments
- Follow guidance from lead testers for integration testing activities
- Align with QA guidelines defined by a central quality assurance team
- Participate in an established developer network
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in Scrum team dynamics
- Deliver analysed developments and conduct unit testing
- Collaborate continuously with analysts, testers, and other developers
- Ensure quality, technical precision, and proactive problem anticipation
- Support knowledge transfer to junior colleagues
- Contribute to integration testing and production readiness
Mandatory Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar Full Stack development role
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Proven experience delivering previously analysed developments and performing unit testing
- Experience collaborating closely with functional analysts, testers, and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated technical rigour, quality focus, organisational flexibility, and strong inter-team communication
- Ability to mentor or transfer knowledge to junior developers
Language Requirements
- Native French or Dutch required
- Fluent English required
- EU Nationality required
