We are currently looking for an experienced F5 Big-IP System Administrator for a long-term mission with one of our key partners based in Brussels. You will join an experienced infrastructure team and play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving the F5 ecosystem, as well as supporting a broader cloud migration strategy.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 support for all F5 Big-IP platforms (LTM, ASM, APM)
- Participate in infrastructure consolidation and version upgrade projects
- Develop and update deployment and maintenance procedures
- Support security operations and vulnerability remediation efforts
- Contribute to the migration of infrastructure to Azure cloud
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code practices
Technical skills
- F5 BIG-IP LTM: Load balancing, pool configuration, persistence rules, SSL certificate management
- F5 BIG-IP ASM: Creation of app security policies (e.g., SQL injection, XSS protection)
- F5 BIG-IP APM: Secure access and identity policy implementation
- Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS
- Automation/Scripting: iRules (TCL), Bash, PowerShell, Icontrol REST API
- Cloud & Virtualization:
- Experience deploying F5 in virtual environments and in the cloud (VMware & Azure).
- Familiarity with F5 Cloud Edition in hybrid setups.
- Authentication Standards: OAuth/OpenID, SAML 2.0
- Certificates: SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle and secure connectivity
- Troubleshooting
Your profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience with F5 BIG-IP administration and support
- Fluent in French and Dutch
- Comfortable with related tools like Firewalls, proxies, and cloud platforms (Azure)
- F5-CA or F5-CTS certification required
- Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS) are a plus
