Role Summary
A Brussels-based non-profit is simplifying how funds are collected from clients and distributed to members. The current workflow is manual, so the Test Engineer must be strong in both manual and automated testing, focused entirely on backend processes and financial data validation. This will be a 3 month contract (extendable) and you will be required to be on-site 1 day per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of backend workflows and financial data.
- Design and execute automated tests for backend components.
- Validate data flows involving Kafka, Spring Boot, Java, PostgreSQL and Azure.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to identify defects and improve system quality.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in backend-focused testing roles.
- Strong manual testing experience in data-heavy environments.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and Azure.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD.
- High attention to detail, especially with financial data.
Profile
- Comfortable working without UI or API testing.
- Able to start within 3 weeks.
