GIS Developer - Medior Backend/ Frontend / R-Shiny
Main Missions
- Develop and maintain GIS applications based on open-source Java technologies and web frontend frameworks.
- Design and deploy mapping services using GeoServer, PostGIS, and Oracle Spatial.
- Develop dashboards and interactive applications with R / Shiny.
- Set up development and deployment environments via Docker.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate mapping requirements into robust technical solutions.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in Java and associated frameworks (Spring, etc.).
- Skills in cartographic frontend development (JavaScript, Angular, OpenLayers/Leaflet).
- Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial).
- Experience with GeoServer and OGC standards.
- Hands-on experience with Docker (containerization, deployment).
- Development in R / Shiny for interactive visualizations.
- DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, etc.).

Experience: Experience in GIS projects (at least 2-3 years)
Knowledge: See above - Telco HFC and FTTP networks
Skills: See above + analysis skills
Attitudes: team player and customer oriented
Languages: Fluent in French and English
