About the opportunity
For several ongoing cybersecurity projects in Wallonia, we are looking for an experienced Incident Response professional to strengthen security operations and support the detection, analysis, containment, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where security is a key business priority, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to enhance cyber resilience and incident response capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and alerts
- Conduct incident triage, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery activities
- Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence
- Coordinate incident response activities with internal teams and stakeholders
- Support threat hunting and forensic investigations when required
- Analyze security logs, alerts, and events from various security tools
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of incident response processes and procedures
- Document incidents, investigations, and lessons learned
- Participate in security exercises, simulations, and response planning activities
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
- A few years of hands-on experience in Incident Response, Security Operations, Cyber Defense, or a similar cybersecurity role
- Experience with security monitoring and incident investigation
- Good understanding of:
- Cyber threats and attack techniques
- SIEM solutions
- EndPoint security
- Network security
- Vulnerability management
- Digital forensics principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively during high-pressure security incidents
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset

- Dutch is considered an asset
