Our client, a financial institution undergoing a major IT transformation, is looking to strengthen their operations by hiring four Back Office & Operations Officers. These professionals will support both banking operations and client lifecycle management during a critical period of system migration and process optimization.
Team composition: Candidates may support multiple teams (3-4) depending on the workload and needs.
Key responsibilities
banking operations:
- Perform account reconciliations
- Prepare attestations for internal and external stakeholders
- Process manual wire transfers
- Respond to client inquiries
- Support the migration of products and cash accounts to a new core system (scheduled for October)
client life cycle management:
- Manage client onboarding
- Handle life cycle events (e.g., updates to client files, compliance information)
- Process account closures
- Ensure the verification of client documentation, including residency, taxation, and compliance checks
Required competencies
- 2-3 years' experience in a banking operational or back-office environment
- Solid knowledge of administrative processes and compliance requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Fluent in French or Dutch
- Highly autonomous, adaptable, and quick to learn in a fast-evolving environment
- Strong common sense, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Able to work precisely under pressure and manage multiple tasks across different teams
